Youth Flag Football League

COACHES NEEDED (See Below)

League Begins:  Saturday, April 4, 2009

League Ends: Saturday, May 30, 2009

Field:  Mentor Civic Center (Behind Mentor High School)

Entry Fee: $75 per child 
                 (Includes game jersey, flag belt and NFL certificate of participation)

Entry Fee Deadline: Friday, March 20, 2009
                 We accept Cash, Visa/MasterCard, Money Orders, 
                  Cashiers Checks or Company Checks. 
                  *NO PERSONAL CHECKS

Game:  5 on 5 Flag. (No blocking, no contact)
            (2) 12 minute halves; Double-headers every week
             2 USFTL Sanctioned Referees per game

Field Size:   60yds x 25 Yds

Mandatory Football:  Junior size ball. Teams must supply their own ball

USFTL Referees:  USFTL of Cleveland prides itself in using only trained & 
                               certified USFTL Referees

Age Groups:

• 5-6 

• 7-8 

• 9-11 

• 12-14 

• 12-14 

• 15-17 

• 15-17 

(All Divisions may be made up of Boys, Girls, or Co-Ed)

Team Draft Night Meeting:
All boys & girls must be signed up as individual players
to be randomly drafted to teams based on age only.

(Pre-Existing Teams allowed)

Please contact the USFTL office if you are interested in becoming a USFTL Youth Flag Football Coach or Assistant Coach! 

Coaches must do list:

• Attend registration meeting on March 25th

• Draft players at registration meeting

• Conduct practices

• Contact team players about up coming games

• Make sure sportsmanship & safety is upheld at all times
